My blog experience

sorry miss, this post is so late, but a send you. I hope you forgive me

I enjoy it because you can share with your partners different personal thoughts, like your opinions of art, tale about your favorite picture or your dream to future, etc. Also you can communicate with your partners about what they have posted in their blogs. And I think the method of blogs is good because it makes the habit of speak in English with your partners. So we are going to make better our skills in English language. With the blog is faster and more fun than other methods. I think the blog method improve my English because it help me to write text in English and I think that is very important for our major. Also we broaden our vocabulary and we get formal tools to make a text. On one occasion, we listened a speech in English and later we gave a opinion about that the man said, so I improve me listening skills too. That is an advantage of the method of the blog, because the fact that we work in internet give us the tools of the web, like news, pictures, different web sites to extract information and, principally, the chance to be connected with the world.
Another advantage was the learning of make a blog. I never made one, so now we can make another to share my opinions of all topics that I like.
Like a disadvantages, we can say the little time of the class to develop more blogs post, I hope do it again in English 4. Also the PCs of the laboratory, sometimes failed a little, but I hope the EGGP improves.
Like conclusion, The experience was so good, I improve my English sharing with my partners and finally we can learn giving opinion and being listened fot the other people.

My ideal job is to be ambassador in an exotic country in the tropic, with so much free time and without family. For this I must to study in the diplomatic academy, learn two languages and I must to have knowledge about the international politics. Really is too difficult. The diplomatic academy is a very selective institution, but this major is a first step to that target. My dream is travel around the world and if I can do it in service to my country, I think is better.
I think I´d be good in that job like ambassador because I am so polite and that is important. I can only study languages to have the basis for postulating and also I must to specialize about international politics science.
How I wrote, the problem is the difficult in the process of applying. So many people try and all are good candidates to get the chance of study in the academy., and the requirements are a lot.
While you study in it, you receive a salary and I think is good, because is like a job while you learn.

My favourite painting

I like this art piece. This was painted by the artist Barry Godber. He died so young when he was 26 years old, so it would be his only painting. The actual owner is Robert Fripp a famous guitar player.

The first time I saw it was when i listened the progressive-rock album In the Court of the Crimson King from the band King Crimson. I was impressed with the music and later I understood the meaning of the cover art.

This painting is related with the first Track of the album: 21st Century Schizoid Man and it shows the sadness of the actual man, the distress and the fear to a World dominated by the money and the individualism. The song talk us about the Vietnam war so the expression of that face also shows the panic to the uncertainty of war.

I like this painting so much and the music more, so i recommend this album, a really masterpiece, because it has excellent music and really good concept art.

Sir Ken Robinson talks to us about how the actual education system kills the children’s creativity.
The children have the ability of the innovation but the adult people cut these skills to form only professionals such as doctors, engineers or lawyers. The creativity skills are essential for all the activities, but the actual system don’t allow mistake and also it create a fears of mistakes to the children. So, the children can’t develop their creativity. That represents stagnation for the progress of society.

In my opinion, I agree with Sir Ken Robinson. The system actual wasted too many children with enormous talents. Too many adults have an unhappy life because they couldn’t find their way of life. The activity that make to them happy.
So, I think is important the family support, because if they don’t support to the children develop their talents, nobody is going to do it

The best in the chilean public field.

The best in the public field is Andres Velasco. He is a Chilean economist, and currently he is the minister of the public treasure.
He worked in many international organizations such us BID, CEPAL, NAFTA. Also he worked like assessor of the government of Mexico, El Salvador and Ecuador.
Like minister, he has been in that charge since President Michelle Bachelet took office.
He don’t agree with a political party, but he supported the campaign of the currently president. Finally, we can say that he is a continuator of the free market model implanted since the dictatorship.
Really, I don’t agree with him, because he has economics thoughts different of mine.
But, we can say that he is an excellent professional. He has studied at excellent universities like Yale, Harvard, Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Columbia. I think that make him the best for his minister.

My correction

Well this picture was taken for a friend, and it shows my friend and me in the concert of Megadeth at the “arena Santiago”. The picture was taken on May 31th of 2008. I like this picture because it shows when we were expecting the start of the show. The concert began at nine but we were there very early like at 3, but the time that we spent waiting was very good because we met a lot of people.
Also, I like this photograph because it shows the place where the concert was, the Arena Santiago, now Movistar Arena. It is the best place for a concert of this kind. It has a good sound and the infrastructure is excellent.
Every time that I see that picture I start to remember the concert, it was one of the most great concert that I’ve ever seen. I always keep this picture and when I grow up I’ll show it to my grandsons to remember how crazy the moment was.

My major!!!!

I´m studying this major because I´m interesting in the political though and its different actors, I want to have a criticism view of the society and our gubernators and finally I want money. This isn´t my first choice, but with the time I liked and now I hope finish it

I think the professionals in our area take the different promises of the politics and make real. They must have knowledge in areas such as: Economy, administration, right, etc. this is so important because through these subjects we can contribute to our society in all its topics.

The tools necessary for all public manager I think is the knowledge about the social problems in our country, because through the subjects of the major and a criticism view we can really help to the people and give them the best public service. Not a slow and aged bureaucracy.

Finally, my favorite subject is history of the politics though. (at the moment). I like this study area because show the different forms of social organization through the history.

you understand we were a little drunk xD

Also the picture shows the excelent place for a concert. Arena Santiago, now Movistar Arena I think is the best place for a concert, has a nice sound and has a good park for the expected.

a) I take some of the suggestions mentioned. I try to sleep enough when I can, and often I party one night of the weekend, not always but I try. The other night I sleep and study.
I eat fruits everyday and vegetables a couple of days a week
I don’t have contact with a personal trainer, but I play basketball two days of the week. Maybe I sometimes run on Fridays, but I don’t want go to the gym because it is expensive.

My partner in the road to nowhere.

My favourite piece of technology is my mp4. It´s not a masterpiece of technology, but it´s my partner in all my travels.

I got it on my last birthday and it was a very nice surprise, because I didn’t expect it

I use it especially to listen to music. I’m always discovering new bands and listening to new albums. Sometimes I save information like homework. In fact I’ve never see a video on it. It’s very useful to go to university, because it’s a long travel.

For this, I use my pen drive all the days of the year.

I like it, because it has 4GB to save information. I don’t need change the music everyday, I change it each month. It’s small and it has a nice design and I think the best thing is that doesn´t use battery.

I think my life would be so boring if I didn’t have my MP4. I know because the travels without music suck.

OK, this is my blog "Road To Nowhere". I`m Diego Carvacho and I´m 19 years old.
I hope with this blog get better my english talking different topics ( not only goberment things, please!!!) and learn to use this new tecnology, the blog, because this is a new esperience for me and i´m not a fan of these things xD.
